As a fitness professional, wife and mother of two young children (one boy and one girl), I can relate to the challenges you face in finding time for fitness. In today’s world, staying in shape isn’t quite as easy as it used to be. Getting to the gym or exercise in general gets moved to the back burner. I know how difficult it can be to stick to your fitness plan, especially when you are trying to do it all alone. It’s a lot easier to reach your fitness goals when you have someone there to guide you.
This is why I became involved in the fitness industry – I truly enjoy helping others to get in shape and stay fit and healthy.
My clients enjoy a variety in their exercise program as it keeps the workouts fresh, interesting and fun. I have invested in the education necessary for me to assess your current fitness condition and design an individualized exercise prescription that will put you on the right path toward the results you are after.

I’ve been into some type of fitness since I could walk. Growing up from the ages 5-12 I was involved in dance, cheer, and gymnastics. From ages 13-21, I played softball and earned a collegiate scholarship to play for California State University San Marcos located in Northern San Diego. I studied Kinesiology and earned my Bachelors in Science degree. During my softball career, we practiced every day along with 3 days a week of extra strength and conditioning work.
This is essentially what got me interested in becoming a fitness coach. I interned for Perseverance Training in my last year of school where I worked with ages ranging from 10-70 years old in functional fitness. I soon became a certified fitness trainer through the ISSA (International Sports Science Association). I started at the Village February 2017 as an intern and then became a permanent Coach. I have experience in coaching all of the classes including Personal Training, Team Training, and Group Training. I also work in the health care industry full time so I mainly coach the night classes that work with my schedule.
The village is more than just a gym; it is a supportive family/community where everyone has similar goals so it is easy to stay motivated by others and it is a fun environment to workout in. I love making up new crazy workouts for our members to try. Every class is different so you’ll never get bored!
